2010 Madeira Golf Tournament

Dear Friend and Golfer,

The Madeira Club Golf Committee invites you once again to participate in Madeira’s Third Annual Golf Tournament. This year’s event is scheduled to be on Monday, May 10th, 2010 at the Pawtucket Country Club in Pawtucket, RI. The cost will be $125.00 per golfer or $475.00 for a foursome. Food and beverages will be served on the golf course at no additional cost. As usual will have great food and even more and better prizes than last year! Our first two tournaments was a great success, this year we promise to be even better, but nothing is possible without your generosity and involvement.

Festival de Gastronomia e Folclore

Festival Gastronomia e Folclore - To be held at our club.

The Festival Gastronomia & Folclore is the most popular Day of Portugal event which highlights our rich local Portuguese culture. This event features local organizations selling their most treasured regional dishes and compete for best dish while traditional folkloric dance groups entertain the crowd.

For those who haven't bought tickets for the Tony Carreira concert on May 8th at Dunkin Donuts Center the DOP committee will have tickets available for sale($38,$48 and $58).

Madeira Island Fundraiser

Dear Members, Friends and Supporters,

Our hearts go out to God in praise over the faithfulness, generosity, and love you have shown to us and to the people of Madeira Island. As you share Christ's love with the people of Madeira through your financial offerings, material donations and prayers, we are excited and proud to report that within the first day of ticket sales for our Fundraiser & Dinner, all 350 tickets have been sold.
This is truly amazing and fully demonstrates your generosity and expressions of compassionate assistance to those affected by this tragic disaster.

Although this may be a disappointment for many of you who would like to attend our DINNER & FUNDRAISER, we would like to assure you that you may still support this great cause with your monetary donations, gifts which may be auctioned off at our Fundraiser, or by volunteering your time in soliciting funds from friends and co workers.

In addition, our compatriots: "CORAL HERANÇA PORTUGUESA" is also holding a Fundraiser Event in support of this tragedy on March 28th 2010, at Our Lady of Fatima's Banquet Hall, in which you may participate.

Date: March 28th, 2010 beginning at 1:00 PM
Menu: Soup, Salad, Codfish à Gomes Sá, Portuguese Style Meat with vegetables, Coffee and varied Desserts.
Entertainment: Theatrical Readings and interpretations of memorable Portuguese songs.
Cost: $30.00 for Adults and $15.00 for children up to the age of 13
